V-TUF STACKVAC is a portable, compact and powerful M-Class Dust extractor with automatic filter shaker function to increase cleaning efficiency and reduce exposure to respirable airborne particulates by capturing dust before it becomes airborne, ensuring a more pleasant and safer working environment for all.
It comes with the Universal Power Tool adaptor (VTM103). It’s stepped and tapered design means that it can be used in conjunction with a wide range of power tools.
To help increase awareness and reduce exposure as to harmful airborne particulates, the UK Health and Safety Executive stipulate M-Class rating as the minimum requirement for vacuum cleaners in many industrial applications. Three of the fundamental benefits of M-Class: 1) Effectively extract dust. 2) Contain the dust (ensure it doesn’t become airborne). 3) Safely dispose of the dust. Minimise exposure. Unrated vacuum cleaners can exhaust huge amounts of respirable dust back into your breathing space. While the tiny dust particles are not visible to the naked eye, they remain airborne for hours, meaning people in the area are inhaling hazardous silica dust particles. V-TUF M-Class Rated Dust Extractors are designed to protect you from RCS (Respirable Crystalline Silica) Silica dust is created when sanding, drilling, demolishing, cutting, sweeping products such as concrete block & bricks, tiles, sandstone, slate, granite slate, limestone & marble. So, by using M-Class rated dust extraction equipment where you extract the dust at source, instead of it becoming airborne, you are doing the right thing by prevent people from inhaling the hazardous silica dust particles into their lungs, and preventing yourself, and those around you from getting an occupational lung disease.
Always use VTM401 Filter bags and ensure that the essential filter (VTM402) is clean and correctly fitted.
